WHS Youth Leadership Bartow participants presented their leadership projects with their teams today. Hannah Willoughby, Miranda Pelow, Danna Renovato, and Madi Ann Taff represented Woodland by collecting items for Bartow Family Resources, organizing a 5K race with proceeds donated to Wounded Warrior Project, and creating a video to encourage others to show respect. Grace Belisle served as a student mentor for the program. Great job Wildcats!

New Year
While every day is a great day to be a Wildcat, only once a year can you shop with one! 2023’s Shop with a Wildcat was our largest yet, with over 140 WHS students giving 43 of our feeder elementary students the best holiday experience. Students shopped for holiday gifts, made crafts, read Christmas stories, and even got a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus! We’d like to give a huge shoutout to Texas Roadhouse in Cartersville for donating lunch, as well as Cartersville McDonalds, Target, Stilesboro Improvement Club, Image Source, and Cline Orthodontics for their contributions and support. Lastly, thank you to all students and staff that helped bring Christmas cheer to those in our community who need it most. Thank you and Happy Holidays, Wildcats!

This week we will administer End of Course testing for the fall semester. EOC tests are administered to students taking 4 key subjects. Each test counts for 10% of a student's grade. American Literature on Monday/Tuesday Single-Semester Algebra Concepts on Wednesday, US History on Thursday Biology on Friday. Test-takers will be provided a special breakfast in the media center before 8:15 the morning on the morning of their exam. BCCCA students who test will take their EOC at the academy the morning assigned. If they ride the bus, they should be on the bus to leave by 8:15.
