Our 6th Annual FIRST LEGO League Robotics Showcase was the best one yet! Before we get to the results, let's talk about the Bartow County School System FAMILY! Thirty-six teams from 16 Bartow County schools were in attendance and they ALL supported each other -- loud and proud! It didn't matter what feeder pattern you were a part of, Adairsville, Cass, or Woodland, all teams cheered and chanted! "Mission Road," "K-E-S is the best," were just a few chants ringing through the halls of Georgia Highlands College!
This year, in addition to the competing LEGO teams, we added non-competing Junior, Discover, and Vex teams. That means even pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade students were in attendance, showcasing their work in Robotics! Each competing team received the opportunity to showcase their Robot Design, Robot Games, Innovation Project, and Core Values.
